Experience Overview
The Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest and most breathtaking cable car rides in the world. Phase 1 lifts you from Gulmarg town (2,650m) to Kungdoor (3,080m), revealing panoramic meadows blanketed in wildflowers in summer and thick powder snow in winter. Phase 2 ascends further to Apharwat Peak (4,200m) — where you stand at the edge of the sky with Himalayan ranges stretching endlessly in every direction. In winter, this is one of Asia's premier off-piste ski destinations. In summer, it transforms into a vast alpine meadow with rare Himalayan flora.
